Middle School Overview

Our Elementary School program provides a strong foundation in academics, faith, and character. During these integral early years, students begin understanding the pillars of Islam, learn how to pray, and develop a deep love for the Qur’an. In a structured, warm, and nurturing environment, our teachers focus on building essential academic skills while encouraging confidence, curiosity, responsibility, and good character. At Andalusia, every student is known, valued, and supported.

Academic Development

Our Middle School curriculum is rigorous and comprehensive, aligned with New York State standards and designed to prepare students for high school Regents coursework and beyond. Students develop advanced reading comprehension, writing, mathematical reasoning, scientific inquiry, and research skills.

State Exam Preparation & High School Readiness

Students at Andalusia prepare for standardized assessments and the transition to high school. Our teachers build exam-taking skills throughout the year, ensuring students are well-prepared and confident.

Islamic Life in Middle School

As students mature, their understanding and commitment to Islam deepens. Our Middle School Islamic program moves students from foundational knowledge toward personal practice, responsibility, and conviction.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)

Eligible students in Grades 6–9 may be inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, one of the nation’s most prestigious student recognition programs. NJHS honors students who demonstrate excellence across five pillars:
